After managing to graduate as valedictorian from Sagesse law school while working full time in a large law firm in Lebanon, Perla Khattar was awarded the prestigious Fulbright scholarship from the U.S. Department of State. She relocated to the United States at the age of 22 and has completed her master’s degree in American law with a concentration in technology and privacy at the University of Loyola, her VEGSP at Drexel University, her FGP at Wayne State University, and to present her candidacy to the New York Bar Association. Perla sees the law as a tool to achieve better societies and the common good. She has a passion for teaching, the reason why she’s been teaching law students for the past 4 years, and looking forward to completing her Ph.D by the year 2026.
